GUIDED SETUP

From a blank computer to a working connection

Check the environment

Identify the system, Node.js, the terminal, and the status of existing tools.

Install the required tools

Show each command one by one, and wait for your confirmation before running it.

Guided configuration

Configure the SeedRouter service gateway through CC Switch.

Verify the connection

Check whether Codex CLI and Claude Code work correctly.

Automatic diagnostics

On failure, collect diagnostic information that contains no keys and provide fix suggestions.

PRIVACY FIRST

Your keys are not saved by the tool

Visible before a command runs

Every command is shown in full first. Nothing runs silently or elevates privileges silently.

API Key is not written to disk

The API Key is not written to disk, logs, or diagnostic reports, and keys are not uploaded.

Explicit confirmation before changes

PATH fixes and environment variable cleanup show every change first and back up the files being edited.

Minimal configuration writes

Nothing is written to ~/.claude or ~/.cc-switch. ~/.codex/config.toml is backed up and updated only after an explicit click.

How to open the unsigned version for the first time

Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper show a warning because the app is not yet signed.

WINDOWS

SmartScreen

Double-click the installer.
When “Windows protected your PC” appears, select “More info”.
After confirming the app name, select “Run anyway”.

MACOS

Gatekeeper

Open the DMG and drag the app into Applications.
Open Terminal and run the command below.
Launch the app from Applications again.
